Solving Problems the Open Source Way

I’ve been playing around with the idea of creating and maintaining a long list of Open Source solutions that you can use for every IT aspect of your business. Over the years I’ve been comprising a list of mainly Open Source Projects (some may not be completely Open Source or may be **Honorable Mentions) and HowTos to pretty much do anything you need to do from an IT perspective. The wonderful thing about Open Source solutions is that you can try out and experiment with them and as a result I’ve got a good deal of experience with many of these solutions. I hope to expand on the over time giving more information on the projects I’ve actually worked with.

This list isn’t really targeted to Desktop Operating systems and application. There are more the infrastructure level and the core services a business needs to run.
